Caught Up Loving A Boss Aisha Hall Books
This was my first read by the author but the more I read, the more I wanted to know what would happen. I guess Bricks, King and Ramel were considered bosses but they each caused the ones they should've been protecting to get caught up. Lawd knows I wanted to slap some sense into Shira for being so dumb when it came to King. Just reading everything she endured behind a sorry, no good man had me pissed. I thought he was a good dude for saving Shira only to learn he played her from the beginning. How Bricks went from a well respected man to turning on the one who always had his back was trifling. Lee-Lee was straight hardcore and her upbringing led her to do some unthinkable things. She was harder than most dudes but her loyalty for Bricks is what made me like her. It's crazy how one bad judgement caused her to get caught up and snitched on. As for Pauline, I couldn't really sympathize for her because when Ramel took it upon himself to change she wasn't satisfied. She was so blinded by the changes that would occur in her life that she threw caution to the wind until it was too late. Pauline knew the consequences but she needed to realize her role as well. LaShaunda really did get on my nerves and I didn't understand why she'd jeopardize her own life thinking King would always protect her considering how he played Shira. King was to blame for a lot of things that occurred but Shira's sense of need and stupidity helped his plan even more. Out of everyone I can say Buddha was a good friend and even when Shira fell short she was there to pick up a few pieces. It goes to show you never know when your life may take a drastic turn when you allow greed, naivety and being loyal to the wrong one will cause you to get caught up loving a boss.

Caught Up Loving A Boss Aisha Hall Books Reviews
This book was different
, them women was true solders that's all I'm saying must read keep you turning the page
This was a good read from beginning to end. I liked the story telling and characters. I'm looking forward to reading more.
This was my first time reading a book by this author. It was very intriguing. The saying is all so true, love will make you do some crazy things. On several occasions,I wanted to choke King. I felt sorry for Shira, she was infatuated with what supposed to have been a boss. I'm glad Shira had Buddha as a friend. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.
Man, this was a great read..... It had many twists and turns.... Lee Lee was something no else. I'm glad she decided not to do Pauline. Buddha was a real friend to Shira. She raised her child for her and for that was commendable. My first read from this author and I am patiently waiting for more. Great job, Aisha. Please 1-click this banger ASAP.......
I've always questioned how a woman could be so in love with a man that she would risk her freedom all in the name of love. Reading this book actually answered that question thoroughly I guess Shira was blind or didn't wanna see that she was headed for trouble.lee Lee couldn't help herself smh.pauline was doing what wives do support her man no matter what. I was hoping that they would all get it together and come to their senses wishful thinking. all in all it was a good read.
The storyline was really good and different..It shared the life of three women behind the walls of a federal prison with similar but different stories but what they all had in common was ending up in prison behind the love of a man...Shira was naive and green a good girl who fell for the wrong man in King...Lee Lee loved her father more than life...Pauline was married to Rammel and just did what she thought would be good as a wife...Definitely will be reading more from this author....
First this was my first book by this author and i was pleasantly surprised. Shira work my nerves because she was obviously to so much. King wasn't really a boss he was just a pawn because LaShaunda ran him and eventually Shira. So we can consider her the boss/mastermind of that hustle. Buddha was the epitome of a loyal friend, she gave great advice and even stepped in when she didn't have to. Pauline and Ramel, I really didn't have an opinion on. But that Lee-Lee she turned me on. She was the pawn who turned boss. She kinda reminded me of the rapper chick Freda Gatz on Empire, but more gangster. Yes she let her emotions show just a little but for the most part she was ruthless, it was kinda sexy and then the whole Jamaican thing she had going she's the type that make you question your sexual preference. Other than that the title was a little misleading was my only issue I was expecting one story not three. But I did like how Lee-Lee and Pauline's tied in. Good job
